In this coral dive specialty program, you will learn how to identify different corals and earn your SSI Coral Identification specialty certification.

Theory-Based: Focuses on managing oxygen exposure, calculating maximum operating depths, and analyzing air mixtures.Safe Usage: Learn to set dive computers for nitrox and understand the benefits/limitations compared to standard air.Practical Skills: Hands-on training on how to analyze and label your own nitrox tank.

With the SSI Deep Diving specialty, you’ll learn everything you need to dive between 18 and 40 meters deep through a combination of classroom sessions and open-water dives. You’ll learn how to safely plan and complete deep dives and how to use dive computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most out of your deep dives. Upon completion, you’ll earn your SSI Deep Diving specialty certification and be able to explore deep dive sites wherever you go. This SSI specialty is a prerequisite for some advanced diving programs, making it the most recommended next step in your diving training.
