Dry Suit Diving

Dry Suit Diving

Dry suit diving offers a variety of opportunities to explore remote areas of the Arctic Circle and life-filled cold water dive sites that would otherwise be impossible. Dry suit diving is also an excellent way to keep warm on multi-dive days when you don't want to spend time changing into a cold wetsuit. The SSI Dry Suit Diver Specialty Program is the best way to become a dry suit diver and teaches you all the knowledge and techniques necessary to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit. You will learn how to use dry suits, BCs and other specialized equipment, the benefits of dry suits, and how to handle dry suit emergencies unique to this type of diving. Upon completion, you will receive your SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty certification.
