Without a doubt one of the most beautiful diving sites in the Mexican Caribbean. Chinchorro is a marine reserve located 35 kilometers from Mahahual, it is the largest atoll in the northern hemisphere and the second largest in the world. , the trip to get there can take as little as 50 minutes or as little as 2.5 hours, depending on the weather. It has been a marine reserve since 1996 and that makes it one of the best preserved diving sites in Mexico. It's like traveling back in time!!!!

Start today - You need to be a Divemaster or equivalent to join SSI's 3-Step Instructor Training Approach. The training process begins with enrollment in the combined Assistant Instructor / Instructor Training Course accompanied by digital learning. Upon successful completion of the Instructor Training Course (ITC), you will enroll in an Instructor Evaluation (IE) to qualify as an SSI Open Water Instructor. This 12-day training program qualifies you to independently teach several key SSI programs, such as Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide. For those who want to take more time to learn and gain valuable teaching experience between training programs, the 3 parts can also be completed as individual steps: Assistant Instructor, Instructor Training Course (ITC) and Instructor Evaluation (IE), one after the other, at your own pace and flexible schedule.

Undoubtedly one of the best preserved places in the Caribbean, due to its special conditions of distance from the coast and no human development it is preserved almost intact in a perfect balance.
