The SSI Decompression Diving Specialty will teach you to dive beyond the no-decompression limits. You'll learn how to plan and execute dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression, using your recreational diving equipment and a decompression cylinder. You'll learn how to use your dive computer's functions effectively, including gas change, reserve and surface times. Using these computer functions will become second nature, allowing you to safely perform limited decompression dives without having to spend hours planning the dive. The SSI Night Diving & Limited Visibility Specialty course is the best way to learn all about night diving and practice the techniques required to make you a safe and confident night diver. This course will give you all the knowledge and skills to dive safely and relaxed at night or in limited visibility conditions. In a balanced mix of online learning and open water dives, you will learn how to use special equipment, the correct entry and exit techniques and how to communicate with your dive buddy at night and in limited visibility. Become a certified Divemaster with SSI The Divemaster program is the first step on an exciting journey. Earn the respect of your teammates and become a diving ambassador by completing the Divemaster program. All you need to get started is 40 logged dives and certification in Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility or at least 5 logged dives in each, plus Diver Stress & Rescue. You will be certified as a Dive Guide on successful completion of the Divemaster program. If you'd like to turn your passion into a profession by guiding certified divers, teaching ecology programs, assisting instructors or even becoming an instructor yourself, the next step is to upgrade to Divemaster with a minimum of 60 logged dives.
