This program allows you to learn about different diving topics before deciding on a full specialty program. It's a great way to learn what your Advanced training is all about and how valuable it can be for your diving adventures. In the Advanced Open Water Diver program you have the opportunity to try out five specialties. After a detailed briefing with your SSI instructor, you will complete one open water training dive for each specialty. This gives you the opportunity to discover all specialty programs. You can complete all specialty programs at a later date at any time and have your Advanced Open Water Diver training dive credited towards this.

An SSI Scuba Skills Update will get you back in the water and back to your old strength in no time at all. In the refresher course, you repeat and practise the diving skills from your Open Water Diver program under the guidance of an SSI professional. However, a scuba skills update is not only a relaxed way to refresh your diving skills, but often also a prerequisite for resuming diving training after a break. If you don't want to worry about your skills on your diving vacation and would rather enjoy the underwater world instead, take the course shortly before your trip. The course is also ideal for Open Water Diver students to consolidate their diving skills before open water dives. The flexible course duration allows you to take your time and concentrate on your weaknesses.

Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore the most beautiful deep dive sites wherever you want. This SSI Specialty is also a prerequisite for other advanced training programs, making it the next logical step in your diving education.

After completing the course you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.
