The SSI Try Scuba program is the best way to dive for the first time. You'll dive in a pool or confined water accompanied by an accredited instructor, who will be by your side at all times so you can enjoy this unforgettable underwater experience and let the magic of scuba diving take you away. When you complete this short program, you will get your SSI Try Scuba recognition card and no doubt, you will be looking forward to diving again. There are plenty of dive experiences waiting for you out there and this program is just what you need to get started. Upon completion of your Try Scuba training and with your recognition card, you will be able to claim a $20 discount on your Open Water Diver course from Refugio de Divers for a period of no more than 3 months after your pool training. The Try Scuba Program is divided into an academic part that you must complete at home and the practice in the pool accompanied by our accredited instructors. As a Nitrox Diver, you'll be able to increase your bottom times and safety margins and reduce surface intervals, so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting. In this program you will learn new skills and increase your dive knowledge. In addition, you will learn how to plan and safely dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion, you will earn your SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification.
