Open Water Instructor Training Course (ITC)

The SSI Divemaster is the first professional level in scuba diving. This 4- to 6-week course prepares you to become a dive leader and to supervise certified divers as well as snorkeling groups.You will be fully involved in the center’s operations: briefings, logistics, assisting instructors, and daily dives to hone your skills.

The SSI Open Water Diver certification is the ideal way to learn to dive safely. Becoming an SSI Specialty Instructor is easy. Continue your diver training as an instructor by enrolling in a Specialty Instructor Seminar for each diving specialty you wish to teach. You can also co-teach the specialty you're interested in with an experienced Specialty Instructor, or request verification of your experience and send it directly to SSI. Teach more specialties to automatically qualify as an Advanced Open Water Instructor.
