This certification is recognized worldwide and is the best way to become a qualified diver on an adventure that will last a lifetime. The Referral Diver program provides the student with the necessary knowledge and training to dive independently with an equally or higher qualified buddy in a pool/limited open water environment appropriate to their training. A student who has fully completed the theory and pool/limited open water training for the SSI Open Water Diver program may be issued the digital Referral Diver card with the goal of completing their open water training dives at a later date and/or at another SSI Training Center. The digital Referral Diver card is available in the student's MySSI account and their progress can be viewed by any affiliated SSI Training Center.

Take an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time. You'll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! With the course you will expand your diving knowledge to plan safe dives with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen.
