Course Overview
When the sun sets, a completely different cast of creatures emerges. This course teaches you how to focus on what you can see in your light's beam, how to control your buoyancy by feel, and how to stay with your buddy in the dark.
- Total Dives: 1 Training Dives
- Schedule: Typically begins in the late afternoon for briefing and extends into the evening for the dives.
- Requirements: Must be an Open Water Diver (or equivalent) or higher.
Curriculum & Skills
During this course, you will master the following:
- Night Dive Planning & Navigation: Learning how to enter and exit in the dark.
- Light Handling & Communication: Using specialized hand and light signals to communicate with your buddy.
- Nocturnal Aquatic Life: Identifying the unique behavior of marine life at night.
- Disorientation Management: Techniques to stay calm and oriented in low-visibility conditions.
