Become a certified Open Water Diver with SSI This globally recognized certification program is the best way to begin your lifelong adventures as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater. You will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification. We have three options available to you giving flexibility about how you want to complete your qualification. - Full Course - this is the complete course which includes all pool sessions, academics, final exam and four qualifying dives. At the end of this course, you will be qualified to dive with an equally qualified buddy. - Referral - completes all academics, pool sessions and final exam. This is often popular with divers wishing to complete their course on holiday. - Referral Upgrade - is the four open water dives needed for qualification.

Becoming an SSI Specialty Instructor is easy. Continue your diving education as an instructor by enrolling in a Specialty Instructor Seminar for each of the diving specialties you would like to teach. Alternatively, you can co-teach the specialty you are interested in with an experienced Specialty Instructor or request a Verification Application of your experience and send it directly to SSI. Teach more specialties to automatically earn the Advanced Open Water Instructor certification.

The SSI CCR Extended Range program builds upon skills and techniques learned as a basic rebreather diver by increasing depth, duration, introducing decompression, and adding more complex skills. Training is available using rEvo CCR rebreathers. SSI has developed this unit-specific program to use trimix as the breathing gas to reduce gas density and increase diver safety. Your CCR Extended Range certification qualifies you to conduct decompression dives to a maximum depth of up to 40 meters using a trimix diluent.
