In this specialty program, you’ll gain the skills and knowledge you need to navigate underwater safely and confidently. You’ll learn how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques, estimate distance, and depart from and return to a designated point, including basic navigation patterns. You’ll also learn how to combine these navigation techniques to enhance your diving experience. All of this will sharpen your underwater observation skills, improve your dive safety, and help you get the most out of every dive. Upon completion, you’ll earn the SSI Navigation Specialty certification.

Night diving requires different skills than daytime diving. The SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility Specialty is the best way to learn more about night diving and to practice the techniques you need to become a safe and confident night diver. This program will equip you with all the knowledge and skills you need to dive safely and comfortably at night or in limited visibility. Through a combination of online learning and open-water dives, you’ll learn how to enter and exit the water, use specialized equipment, and communicate easily with your buddy at night or in limited visibility. Upon completion, you’ll earn the SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility Specialty certification and be ready to go night diving with confidence!

Shark Ecology Sharks and humans, a complex relationship. How do sharks and humans coexist and protect both sharks and humans. You first read about the history and evolution of the shark. Further on the way of reproduction, the use of senses and the different species. Conditions for participation and requirements Minimum age and previous education The minimum age is 6 for snorkeling students and 10 years for diving students. Required for certification Reading through the theory and taking the online exam. When You can start directly with the theory online. After your booking and payment you will receive the theory online and you can read it and take the online exam. Price The price is € 75,- including digital course material and digital certification. Extra to book is the plastic certification card for € 10,-.

Enroll in the SSI Science of Diving specialty and develop a comprehensive understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body. This specialty is a prerequisite for most SSI Professional programs, as well as for some Extended Range programs, and is an essential way to expand your diving knowledge. Available online, you can earn your SSI Science of Diving certification from home and prepare for a career in diving. Upon completion, you’ll be halfway to earning the coveted SSI Divemaster certification and will earn the SSI Science of Diving certification. Price: 110 euros for the online course
