Due to its exposed location in the northern part of Lake Schwerin, you will need to allow a little more time for this trip. However, you will be rewarded with an unforgettable dive at a special technical monument. The MIG crashed in 1954. Today, the aluminum hull is stuck like a dart in the 17-meter-deep bottom. The wreck is completely colonized by small shells. Nevertheless, details such as the tail unit and the remains of pipes and instruments are clearly visible. One wing is still connected to the fuselage and protrudes like a metal wall half submerged in the silt. The other wing lies a few meters from the wreck and still shows the clearly visible red Russian star. Cargo glider - a historic wreck in top condition Do you already know our most beautiful wreck? In just a few minutes by boat, we will take you to the wreck of a historic cargo sailing ship off the island of Ziegelwerder.
