Night Diving and Limited VisibilityNight dives require skills that are completely different from those needed for daytime dives. The SSI Night Diving and Low Visibility Specialty course is the best way to learn everything about night diving and practice the techniques necessary to become a safe and confident night diver. This course will equip you with all the knowledge and skills you need to dive safely and comfortably at night or in limited visibility conditions. Through a balanced mix of online learning and open-water dives, you’ll learn how to use specialized equipment, master proper entry and exit techniques, and communicate with your dive buddy at night and in low visibility. Upon completing the course, you’ll receive the SSI Night and Low Visibility Specialty certification and be ready to dive confidently in the dark.

The Dive Guide program is the first step on an exciting journey. Learn to safely lead certified divers in a variety of environments and conditions. By conducting dive briefings, performing site assessments, and leading dives, you’ll quickly become a confident Dive Guide. Start your diving career as a Professional Dive Guide or continue on to earn your Divemaster certification.

Many of the ocean's best dive sites are wrecks. These impressive structures attract an unusually high density of marine life and give you the chance to immerse yourself in living history as you dive. There is nothing quite like wreck diving and SSI Wreck Diving expertise will give you all the skills and knowledge you need to become a safe and confident wreck diver. Through a combination of academic and confined water sessions, you will be taught how to safely dive around wrecks and artificial reefs to depths of up to 30 meters. You will also develop your wreck diving skills during open water training dives. All this will enable you to enjoy wreck diving safely and get the most out of every dive. Take an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time. This way, you’ll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! This course will expand your diving knowledge so you can plan safe dives using enriched air mixtures with up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion of the course, you’ll receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.

This globally recognized certification program is the best way to begin a lifetime of adventures as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you gain the skills and experience needed to feel truly comfortable underwater. Upon completing these steps, you will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification.

Throughout this entry-level program, you’ll learn everything you need to safely freedive with a buddy in a pool or confined water up to a depth of 5 meters. Online training is combined with in-water practice sessions in this program to provide you with all the skills and knowledge you need. Upon completing the program, you will receive your SSI Basic Freediver certification.
