SSI Advanced Open Water Diver Course The SSI Advanced Open Water Diver course is an advanced diving course that builds on the SSI Open Water Diver certification and expands your diving skills through adventure dives. If you are already certified as an SSI Adventure Diver, you only need to complete two more adventure dives to receive the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
