Have one (1) of the following SSI certifications (no equivalencies allowed): Scuba Assistant Instructor Mermaid Instructor Program: 1 Program Review 2 Academic Session 3 Breathing Session 4 Basic Free Diver Skills 5 Program Administration 6 Final Evaluation PRACTICAL: Practical application of aquatic skills Breathing Session Basic freediving skills workshop Final Exam Certification Upon completion of the Basic Freediving Instructor Training Course, send to the responsible SSI Service Center the candidate's training record, along with all necessary documentation. The candidate will be certified as a Basic Freediving Instructor. As a Basic Freediving Instructor, you will be able to teach freediving through the Snorkel Diver, Try Freediving and Basic Freediver programs.
