There are underwater wonders that can only be discovered if we go a little further, such as spectacular shipwrecks or fascinating coral walls. But descending to depths greater than 18 meters requires specific knowledge to do so safely and with peace of mind.With SSI’s Deep Diving specialty, we’ll guide you step by step and give you our full attention so you can learn to dive safely at depths between 18 and 40 meters. By combining theory with actual dives in the ocean, we’ll teach you in a hands-on, practical way how to plan your descents, use your dive computer with confidence, and calculate your gas consumption so you can enjoy every minute in the depths to the fullest.As with all our courses, we make sure you master each concept at your own pace, feeling supported and confident with every fin stroke. In Bayahibe, we have several beautiful reefs and two spectacular shipwrecks: the Atlantic Princess and the St. George.Reefs → Viva Shallow, Coco Reef, Dominicus Reef, Guaraguao, La Playita, and more…Atlantic Princess → Suitable for all levels (max. 12 m)St. George → For Advanced or Deep specialty (25–32m)Very small groups: Maximum of 4 divers per guide or instructor.We depart daily from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m.The dive sites are only 10–15 minutes away by boat.We will confirm the exact details 1 or 2 days in advance to ensure the best conditions.Before jumping into the water, we always hold a fish briefing so you can recognize marine life and enjoy your dives much more. It takes place at our dive center and lasts 30–40 minutes, featuring real photos on the TV. Although we always dive in very small groups, we also offer the option to add a Private Instructor for an additional fee of 39 USD. That way, you’ll have one of us exclusively for yourselves. It’s perfect if you’re the type who likes to go super slow looking for little creatures, want to take your time with the camera, or simply feel like enjoying total tranquility and undivided attention underwater at your own pace.
