Enroll in SSI's Science of Diving specialty to gain a thorough understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body. There are underwater wonders that can only be discovered if we go a little further, such as spectacular shipwrecks or fascinating coral walls. But descending to depths greater than 18 meters requires specific knowledge to do so safely and with peace of mind.With SSI’s Deep Diving specialty, we’ll guide you step by step and give you our full attention so you can learn to dive safely at depths between 18 and 40 meters. By combining theory with actual dives in the ocean, we’ll teach you in a hands-on, practical way how to plan your descents, use your dive computer with confidence, and calculate your gas consumption so you can enjoy every minute in the depths to the fullest.As with all our courses, we make sure you master each concept at your own pace, feeling supported and confident with every fin stroke.
