Take an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time. You'll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! With the course you will expand your diving knowledge to plan safe dives with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. After completing the course, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.

The SSI Science of Diving Specialty course provides you with a comprehensive understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body. The course serves as the foundation for most SSI Professional courses as well as for some Extended Range courses and is an essential component for deepening your diving expertise. React Right is SSI's emergency first responder course and provides the knowledge and practical skills to act as a first responder in a medical emergency. This specialty course provides you with the knowledge and advanced skills you need to navigate safely and confidently underwater. You will learn the correct use of the compass, natural navigation techniques, estimating distances, leaving and returning to a given point and simple navigation patterns. You will also learn how to combine navigation techniques to optimize your diving experience. All of this will sharpen your underwater observation skills, increase your diving safety and help you get the most out of every dive. Upon completion of the course, you will receive the SSI Navigation Specialty certification.

The Assistant Instructor is the next logical step after the Divemaster on your way to becoming an Instructor. It gives you the chance to gain valuable teaching experience, practice dive briefings, teach theory lessons and take over practical dive training. If you want to advance your career as an SSI Professional, you can complete the Instructor Training course, pass the Instructor Evaluation and qualify as an Open Water Instructor.

The second part of your journey to becoming an Open Water Instructor! After successfully completing the SSI Assistant Instructor Training, we continue with the Instructor Training Course part. We refine your training skills, teach you practical tips and tricks for teaching independent divers and optimally prepare you for the upcoming exam, the Instructor Evaluation. Lake Klopein is located in southern Carinthia. The entry point on the south shore at Strandbad Süd offers a varied dive among artificial trees and various sunken attractions. From boats to a replica dugout canoe, there’s plenty to discover here. Pike and catfish are a common sight here. Sightings are virtually guaranteed. There are also crayfish and other freshwater fish such as carp and perch.

In the SSI Basic Diver course, you’ll learn the skills and knowledge to dive to a depth of 12 meters with an SSI professional. It’s a great way to discover even more of the underwater world as you continue your journey as a diver. If you decide to take the next step in your diving adventure within 6 months and complete a Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver course, your Basic Diver course will be fully credited toward it.
