Deep Diving

The SSI Deep Diving Specialty will teach you everything you need to know to dive between 18 and 40 meters, through a combination of classroom instruction and open-water dives. You’ll learn how to plan and safely fulfill your deep-diving dreams. You’ll learn how to use a dive computer effectively and understand gas consumption calculations so you can fully enjoy your deep dives. Upon completing the SSI Deep Diving Specialty, you’ll receive a certification and be able to explore beautiful, deep dive sites around the world. This SSI Specialty is also a prerequisite for other more advanced courses, making it a natural step in your diving progression.
Through a combination of classroom sessions and pool-like water sessions, you’ll learn to dive safely over and around wrecks and deep sites without penetration, down to a depth of 40 meters. All of this will give you the confidence to enjoy future dives with confidence and safety. I’d like to add that we can conduct these dives in Croatia, Germany, or Poland. We recommend deep diving in Croatia on the wrecks of the Ju87 Junkers aircraft and the “Francesca” from World War II—it’ll be an amazing experience. Upon completing the course, you’ll receive the SSI Deep Diving specialty certification. Get started online today! Start your training today on a trip to the island of Murter in Croatia, or in Poland and Germany. Phone: 500266168

Computer Diving

Computer Diving

* SSI designed the Computer Diving program to help certified divers become familiar with the features and benefits of using a dive computer. Understanding and knowing how to use all the features of a dive computer will not only make your dive safer, but will also make it easier to plan and execute your dive * The SSI Computer Diving program explores the features and capabilities of various dive computers and explains how to use these features before, during and after a dive. Often divers buy a computer and use it only for basic information. Get the most out of your investment by learning how to use your dive computer to its fullest potential. Here are examples of what the program covers: - Say goodbye to dive tables and hello to real-time data for safe and efficient dives - Learn how to set up and customize your dive computer - From surface mode to meter mode, discover how these high-tech devices provide dive information, enable pre-dive planning with Nitrox, and even allow you to change gas underwater. - Prepare your computer for no-decompression and decompression dives - Discuss the various warnings and alerts you may encounter while diving - Learn the process of accessing your logbook, logging dives, transferring data, maintenance and troubleshooting Start your SSI Computer Diving specialization online today! Cavern & Cenote Diving diving at the Kőbánya Mine in Budapest.

Cavern & Cenote Diving diving at the Kőbánya Mine in Budapest.

DARCO Żagań Dive Center invites you to dive in Kőbánya mine in Budapest. Note: Everything is set to the last button, i.e. we have the green light from Hungary for the dive as well as a nice hotel, and after the dive we invite you to visit Buda and Pest. For the trip we invite divers and sightseeing relaxers. On the eastern side of Budapest there is a labyrinth of limestone corridors and halls that is the Kőbánya mine. Many, even the city's iconic buildings, were built from limestone extracted from this fossil. In later times, wine producers used it as cellars and since the 20th century the Dreher brewery has owned the site. During World War II, it housed a hidden aircraft engine factory. Nowadays, some of the halls and corridors are underwater, so you can dive in the cold but also crystal clear water. Most of these flooded industrial parts of the mine can only be visited by certified cave divers, but one site is open to all divers. Don't expect a typical mine dive. For the most part, these are basically flooded rooms and corridors of the factory so you won't find rails just stairs. You don't have to be a certified cave diver to dive Molnar Janos Cave or Kobanya Mine. You must have at least an advanced diver certificate (AOWD) and you must be an experienced diver. If you have the necessary experience you can participate in Intro to cave diving (discover cave diving). If you do not have any cave qualification, the minimum requirements are: - Diver certificate at least Advanced - at least 50 logged dives with several night dives - good buoyancy control and swimming technique (frog kick) - experience with Twinset will be an added advantage. DIVING IN CROATIA ON THE ISLAND OF VIS

DIVING IN CROATIA ON THE ISLAND OF VIS

Vis Island—Attractions and Must-See Places. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot in Croatia that hasn’t yet been overrun by commercial tourism, Vis Island seems like the perfect destination. The (still) low volume of tourists is mainly due to the island’s great distance from the mainland, as well as the fact that Vis only became accessible to tourists a dozen or so years ago, following the breakup of Yugoslavia. Departure on Friday, September 19; return to Poland on September 28, 2025. The Nautica dive center on the island of Vis is open from late May through October. We invite you to enjoy recreational and technical dives, as well as diving courses at all levels, led by Polish instructors. We’ve also prepared a mini-guide for you on what to see and do on this beautiful island. We want to encourage you to venture off the beaten path. The island of Vis is a wild place, untouched by mass tourism, ideal for groups and families, and for those who want to slow down a bit… Our dive center is located on the ground floor of the Issa Hotel in Vis. The center’s 200 m² space includes: an office, a lounge area for guests, two storage rooms for drying dive gear, a compressor room, restrooms, and a reb-room. In the office, you’ll find a dedicated area for charging flashlights, computers, phones, etc., as well as a coffee corner. The dive center is equipped with approximately 100 steel tanks with DIN valves, in 15- and 12-liter sizes, both single- and double-valve. We rent a full range of wetsuits, boots, and fins; wings, dive computers, compasses, regulators, and flashlights. For our guests, we also have stage air and oxygen tanks, twinsets, pure oxygen regulators, and dry suits. 1. Recreational Diving; Recreational diving, as defined in this price list, must meet all three of the following conditions: be non-decompression, not exceed a depth of 40 m, and last no longer than 60 minutes. Included in the price of the dive: a Polish guide, compressed air, a tank (10 L, 12 L, or 15 L), weights, transportation to the dive site, hot and cold beverages, and a snack. The price does not include: rental of other diving equipment (check equipment rental prices). A night dive can be conducted at no extra charge—from the shore—as one of the dives in the selected package. Dive prices do not depend on the distance to the dive site. Recreational Dive Packages: 10 / 5 dive days, price 390 EUR 2. Technical or Extended Dives “Technical or extended dives” refer to: decompression dives, dives deeper than 40 m, dives lasting longer than 60 minutes, and dives using “stage” tanks. Diving price list: Link nautica.pl/diving-croatia/price-list/ During your stay, we recommend completing the AOWD course up to 30 m and the Deep 40-meter diving specialty, as well as others that we’ll discuss during our conversation. Travel arrangements are on your own; for information, see the link: nautica.pl/diving-croatia/hvar/travel/ Accommodations are available in hotels and apartments. The Issa Hotel is located in the northwestern part of the island of Vis, in a picturesque cove near the ferry port, right next to the historic walls of the ancient Greek settlement of Issa. It offers 128 rooms, most with a sea view. Apartments: nautica.pl/diving-croatia/vis/accommodation/ Vis Island – attractions and must-see places. Enriched Air Nitrox (40%)

Enriched Air Nitrox (40%)

As a nitrox diver, you will lengthen your bottom times and increase your safety margin on challenging dives. In addition, you'll shorten surface breaks - so you can spend more time diving, not waiting! In this course, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge by learning about safe dive planning and performing dives with oxygen-enriched air up to 40% oxygen content. Upon completion of the course, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% Specialty Certificate. Nitrox (nitrox) - an oxygen-nitrogen mixture containing more than 21% oxygen. Reducing the amount of nitrogen in the mixture improves its properties for dives up to 40m. As a breathing medium, it is safer than air provided certain rules are followed. This is mainly about diving depth and exposure time. In the case of nitrox with 40% oxygen, you can use equipment (cylinder, breathing machine) used for air diving, when the oxygen content of the mixture exceeds 40%, you must use clean and oxygen-compatible equipment (otherwise an explosion may occur). Increasing the depth below 40m is not possible due to the toxic effects of oxygen at increased partial pressure above 1.6at or 1.4at depending on the diving organization. I present below some nitrox mixtures along with the limiting depths at a given maximum evaporative pressure. Currently, virtually no diving organization allows diving at an oxygen partial pressure greater than 1.4at. At the decompression stop oxygen partial pressure. additionally paid dives. information tel. 500 266 168
