further dates on request / If you can't yet decide which specialty programs are right for you, take part in an SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program! This program allows you to learn about different diving topics before deciding on a full specialty program. It's a great way to learn what your Advanced training is all about and how valuable it can be for your diving adventures. In the Advanced Open Water Diver program you have the opportunity to try out five specialties. After a detailed briefing with your SSI instructor, you will complete one open water training dive for each specialty. This gives you the opportunity to discover all specialty programs. You can complete all specialty programs at a later date at any time and have your Advanced Open Water Diver training dive credited towards this.

An SSI Scuba Skills Update will get you back in the water and back to your old strength in no time at all. In the refresher course, you repeat and practise the diving skills from your Open Water Diver program under the guidance of an SSI professional. However, a scuba skills update is not only a relaxed way to refresh your diving skills, but often also a prerequisite for resuming diving training after a break. If you don't want to worry about your skills on your diving vacation and would rather enjoy the underwater world instead, take the course shortly before your trip. The course is also ideal for Open Water Diver students to consolidate their diving skills before open water dives. The flexible course duration allows you to take your time and concentrate on your weaknesses.

In a balanced combination of theory sessions and open water dives, the SSI Deep Diving Specialty teaches you everything you need for dives between 18 and 40 meters. You will learn how to plan and safely conduct your deep diving adventures and how to get the most out of your deep dives with the help of dive computers and gas consumption calculations. Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore the most beautiful deep dive sites wherever you want. This SSI Specialty is also a prerequisite for other advanced training programs, making it the next logical step in your diving education.

Only dry suit diving opens up the special underwater landscapes of cold water, such as dives on icebergs in the remote Arctic or fascinating places teeming with life despite the cold. Dry suits are also great if you dive several times a day. Instead of struggling to get out of the cold, wet wetsuit each time, the dry suit diver simply leaves his suit on. The best way to dry suit dive is the SSI Dry Suit Diver Specialty program. Here you will gain the necessary knowledge and learn all the skills to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit. This includes how to use the special equipment and how to deal with difficult situations and problems with the dry suit. At the end of the course you will receive the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty certification.

You'll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! The program expands your diving knowledge to include safe planning of dives with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. After completing the course you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.

You will learn the correct use of the compass, natural navigation techniques, estimating distances, leaving and returning to a specific point and simple navigation patterns. All of this will sharpen your underwater observation skills, increase your diving safety and help you get the most out of every dive. Upon completion of the course, you will receive the SSI Navigation Specialty certification.
