It's easy for scuba skills to rust and lose confidence when you haven't dived for a while. With SSI's Scuba Skills Update, we'll get you back in the water and diving with ease in no time. This Scuba Skills Update course allows you to review and practice the diving skills you learned in the Open Water Diver program, under the supervision of an SSI professional. This is a great course to take before your diving vacation, so you can spend less time worrying about your skills and more time admiring the marine life. If you are a non-certified Open Water Diver student, Scuba Skills Update is perfect for practicing your diving skills before your open water training dives. This course has no fixed format because it can be tailored to your needs and the skills needed to be reviewed (for example, rescue, dive guide or simply open water skills). The fee is based on 3 parts, one day of knowledge update, a pool training session, and one open water session to bring all those skills to life. The Dive Guide program is the first step on an exciting journey. Learn to safely lead certified divers in various environments and conditions. This is your entry to the professional world of scuba divers. By giving dive briefings, doing site evaluations, and leading dives, you will become a confident Dive Guide in no time. Begin your diving career working as a Professional Dive Guide and learn how to organize scuba diving trips and how to become a productive member in a very busy scuba center. You can also get another certification and become training specialist and teach beautiful courses about the ocean and the marine life. This course also qualifies you to enter instructor training course.This course can be for any diver who wants to become more confident and has environmental awareness, and not necessarily make a career out of it. You will be able to assess dive sites, analyze divers and lead friends if you want to. The course is composed of academics (read before you come), 2 pool training sessions to sharpen your open water and rescue skills. Your rescue skills need to be top-notch (do not worry we will work on that). The SSI Extended Range Foundations program provides you with an opportunity to enhance your advanced diving skills in a workshop environment. Learn more about using tec diving gear with any total diving system you are certified to use and build upon your basic skill set to master buoyancy, trim, finning techniques, positioning, and communication. The Extended Range Foundations program provides supplementary training to existing certifications to increase your confidence and in-water control. All in-water sessions are completed in a pool/confined water environment at depths less than 12 meters. You will earn the SSI Extended Range Foundations certification after completing this program.Take your skills and buoyancy to the next level. If you are thinking to go technical or do decompression diving or simply enjoy the water with a great set of skills, this course is for you. Dive Experience - CAS Academy This experience is for those who are curious about the world of scuba diving, and want to experience what it feels like to breathe underwater for the first time. At CAS, the experience is not only offered as a recreational activity, but as a structured and safe introduction to the world of diving, where comfort is built and learning is progressive. The session begins with a simple explanation of breathing and equipment, then hands-on training in shallow water, and after ensuring comfort, participants are taken on a short underwater tour with direct supervision from the instructor. The goal is not just to experience, but to feel comfortable, in control and aware underwater. Total Duration: 2-3 hours Dive time: 30-45 minutes Location: Half Moon Beach The experience is suitable for beginners, and may be the first step for those who want to learn to dive deeper. Part of the experience fee can be included in the open water course fee.

SSI's Snorkel Diver program is your first step toward discovering your passion for the underwater world. It's the best way to learn how to snorkel and develop your confidence in the water, so you can practice snorkeling and explore the breathtaking landscapes and wildlife of the aquatic world. You don't have to be a skilled swimmer to participate in the Snorkel Diver program, and there is no minimum age to join. You just need to be comfortable in the water, able to maintain buoyancy, and ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime! In this specialized program, you'll gain the advanced skills and knowledge you need to navigate safely and confidently underwater. All of this enhances your underwater observation skills, improves the safety of your dives and helps you get the most out of each dive. In this program, you will learn how to fit, clear, and manage a full face mask, and respond to common emergency situations. After successful completion, you will earn the SSI Full Face Mask Diving Specialty certification.You can talk underwater, too!A full face mask fitted with a compatible communication system allows you to speak with other divers using compatible equipment.At Corals & Shells, we offer optional additional training in underwater voice communication during a separate sea session, booked on another day.
