The SSI Decompression Diving Specialty will teach you how to dive beyond the no-decompression limits. You will learn to plan and conduct dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression using your recreational total diving system and a single decompression cylinder. You will learn and practice how to effectively use your dive computer features, including switching gases, gas integration, time-to-reserve, and time-to-surface. Using these computer functions will become second nature, enabling you to safely conduct dives with limited decompression without hours of dive planning. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Decompression Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore stunning deep dive sites or larger wrecks without being restricted by the traditional no-decompression limits. The SSI EXTENDED RANGE (XR) course line was created to properly prepare divers to push their limits—both in terms of dive time and depth. Proper training and preparation allow divers to safely exceed 40 meters in depth and extend their dive time through properly planned and executed decompression stops.The Extended Range course is the first major step on your journey to truly deep dives.In this course, the main emphasis is on improving swimming techniques with a twin-tank setup, procedures specific to technical diving, and learning how to plan and conduct dives requiring decompression.After completing the course, you are certified to dive with someone who has the same or higher certification:using mixtures up to 100% oxygen for decompressionwith a maximum depth limit of 45 mwith a maximum decompression time of 25 minutes

This is a place that every diver should visit at least once in his life ! Dahab is a magical place. There is no diver who has not heard of it. This time we have prepared an unusual program - diving in the most interesting places in Dahab and unforgettable diving activities. During this trip we will dive in probably, the most beautiful places in the northern part of the Red Sea. The trip is friendly to recreational, technical and rebreather divers! The SSI Deep Diving specialization will teach you everything you need to know to dive in the 18-40 meter range through a combination of theory classes and open water dives. You will learn how to plan and safely fulfill your deep diving dreams. You'll learn how to use your dive computer effectively and learn the calculations involved in gas consumption to enjoy deep dives to the fullest. Upon completion of the SSI Deep Diving Specialization, you will be certified and will be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites around the world. This SSI Specialization is also required before other more advanced courses, so it is a natural step in your diving development.

In the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue course, you’ll learn skills that will help you and other divers. You’ll learn how to recognize stress and prevent accidents, and you’ll master practical techniques for conducting rescue operations and providing first aid. Through a combination of pool sessions and open-water training dives, you’ll become a well-prepared and confident rescuer in emergency situations and when providing assistance. Upon completion of the course, you’ll receive the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty certification.

If you cannot decide which specialty programs are the best choice for you, join the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program! You will try Deep Diving and Navigation plus a variety of 3 more specialty areas of choice before committing to full specialty training. It is a great way to experience what advanced diver training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver Program, you will experience 5 different specialties by completing one open water training dive per specialty after a comprehensive briefing with your SSI Instructor. By taking this program you will have total freedom to explore. You can complete the full Specialty trainings any time in the future and credit your Advanced Open Water Diver training towards them.
