The SSI Science of Diving Specialty course provides you with a comprehensive understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body. The course serves as the foundation for most SSI Professional courses as well as for some Extended Range courses, and is an essential component for deepening your diving expertise. You can earn your SSI Science of Diving Specialty certification online from home. Upon completing the course, you’ll be halfway to the coveted SSI Divemaster certification and will receive your Science of Diving certification.

As a deep diver, you have the unique opportunity to explore some of the world's best dive sites and most popular marine life. There is so much waiting for you in the deep blue sea. In a balanced combination of theory sessions and open water dives, the SSI Deep Diving Specialty course will teach you everything you need for dives between 18 and 40 meters. Once a month we have our regulars' table. Registration is always requested via the WhatsApp group and we announce the number of participants a week in advance so that we have places. You will learn and practice how to effectively use your dive computer features, including switching gases, gas integration, time-to-reserve, and time-to-surface. Using these computer functions will become second nature, enabling you to safely conduct dives with limited decompression without hours of dive planning. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Decompression Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore stunning deep dive sites or larger wrecks without being restricted by the traditional no-decompression limits.
