Event description

This is the first level as a certified mermaid. It officially kicks off your mermaid journey. You’ll enjoy a mermaid experience and learn the basic techniques of mermaiding, such as swimming with a monofin and a mermaid fin, breathing, and underwater comfort.

The rate includes:

  • the pool session
  • the online theory course via the SSI app (on a smartphone)
  • certification
  • equipment rental
  • souvenir photos and videos.
Prerequisites
  • Able to swim, able to put one’s head underwater
  • No prior certification required
  • Ages 12 and up

Dive into even more freedom!With just two additional sessions in the open water, you can become an SSI Ocean Mermaid. Practicing and gliding through the water in the open water is an incredible feeling. You’ll learn to care for our bodies of water as a mermaid or merman.
