HANOI - THO HA - HALONG - HUE - DANANG - BA NA HILLS - HOI AN - MY SON - SAIGON (HO CHI MINH) - MEKONG DELTA - CAN THO - SAIGON Day 1. Warsaw - Hanoi. Departure from Warsaw. Day 2. Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi and start of the program. Transfer to the hotel, check-in, and free time to rest and explore Hanoi on your own. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 3. Hanoi – Tho Ha. Breakfast. Transfer to the traditional village of Tho Ha. After a short ferry ride, a walk through the open-air museum and a demonstration of the traditional craft of making rice paper for spring rolls. Next, a visit to a local family, where we’ll be treated to wine and learn how to make and dry rice paper. We’ll also have the opportunity to listen to folk songs and take a stroll through the village. In the afternoon, we’ll return to Hanoi and tour the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum (from the outside) and the 11th-century One-Pillar Pagoda. We’ll also see the 11th-century Temple of Literature (Vietnam’s first university). Next, a rickshaw ride through Hanoi’s old quarters, a short break, and the chance to try freshly brewed beer and traditional local snacks. In the evening, an optional trip to the Water Puppet Theater (approx. 30 USD/person, depending on the number of participants). Overnight in Hanoi. Day 4. Hanoi – Halong. After breakfast, we’ll head toward Halong Bay. During the drive, we’ll have the opportunity to admire the picturesque rural landscapes. Upon arrival, we’ll take a cruise on a traditional Chinese junk through the famous Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s tourist wonders. Within the small area of this picturesque bay, there are approximately 3,000 islets rising above the water’s surface and hiding mysterious caves and nooks. During the cruise, we’ll enjoy a lunch of freshly caught seafood on board the ship. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship. Day 5. Halong – Hanoi – Hue. After breakfast, as we continue our cruise, we’ll be able to admire the charming coves and islets. After docking, transfer to Hanoi through vast expanses of rice fields in the Red River Delta. Free time upon arrival, and in the evening, transfer to the Hanoi train station for an overnight train ride to Hue. Dinner on the train is on your own. Overnight on the train. Day 6. Hue. Arrival in Hue in the morning and transfer to the hotel. After a light traditional local breakfast (noodles with beef and Vietnamese coffee), explore Hue, once the capital of southern Vietnam and the seat of the Nguyen dynasty emperors. Visit the Imperial Citadel and the royal tombs of Khai Dinh. Then, lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, a boat cruise on the romantic Perfume River. A stop at the Thien Mu Pagoda, located on the riverbank, where you’ll see the 7-story pagoda (a traditional religious structure). Visit to the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, a complex consisting of forty structures (palaces, temples, and pavilions). Dinner on your own. Return to the hotel and overnight stay in Hue. Optional excursion—a dragon boat cruise on the Huong River (weather permitting) (approx. 62 USD/person, depending on the number of participants).Day 7. Hue – Da Nang – Ba Na Hills – Hoi An. After breakfast, transfer to Da Nang and Ba Na Hill. Ride the cable car to the summit and explore the area. From the hill, you can admire the panoramic view of Da Nang. Next, visit the Golden Bridge, which stands out for its unique architectural feature—two enormous, ancient hands that seem to support the bridge. The bridge is located 1,400 meters above sea level, at an altitude that creates the illusion of a silk ribbon hidden in the clouds above Da Nang. Next, transfer to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An. NOTE: The entrance fee for Ba Na Hill includes a round-trip cable car ride and some games, but does not include admission to the wax museum, the Teddy Bear game, or the indoor sports at Fantasy Park. Day 8. Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An. After breakfast, a trip to the My Son Sanctuary, which served as a place of worship and burial for the rulers of the Champa Kingdom and national heroes. Surrounded by mountain ranges and situated in a wide valley, this temple complex—one of the most important Hindu sites in Southeast Asia—is also one of Vietnam’s most significant religious monuments. After exploring the area, return to Hoi An for lunch and a one-hour boat cruise on the Thu Bon River. Next, a walk through Hoi An (an ancient trading port and a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and a stroll along its charming, ancient cobblestone streets. Visit the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese Temple, and the Phung Hung Chinese Trading House. Day 9. Hoi An – Da Nang – Saigon. Breakfast. Transfer to Da Nang and flight to Saigon, the main city of southern Vietnam with strong influences from French colonialism. Upon arrival, city tour: the Jade Emperor Pagoda, the Reunification Palace (exterior view), Cha Tam Cathedral, and the colonial-style Central Old Post Office. Next, a visit to Ben Thanh Market, where you’ll have the opportunity to shop. Meals on your own. Overnight in Saigon. Day 10. Saigon – Mekong Delta – Can Tho.After breakfast, a trip to the Mekong Delta in Ben Tre Province. Once there, a motorboat cruise on the Ben Tre River, followed by an onshore observation of the traditional brick-firing process and the production of coconut-based products. Visit a local family living along a tributary of the Mekong River who make sleeping mats. Take a short break and enjoy fresh coconuts and green tea at a local home. Ride by bicycle or motorized cart through rice fields and vegetable gardens. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, a cruise through the canals on a rowboat (sampan). Then transfer to Can Tho. Dinner on your own. Overnight stay in Can Tho. Day 11. Can Tho – Saigon. After breakfast, transfer to the Ninh Kieu waterfront. Then, a cruise on traditional boats to the Cai Rang floating markets, where fruits are sold, including durians, known for their distinctive smell. The cruise continues through the labyrinth of canals and tributaries surrounding Can Tho, during which you’ll be able to observe the daily life of the locals. Return to the hotel and check-out. Upon arrival at the airport, the program concludes. Departure for Poland. For those extending their stay, an individual transfer to the selected hotel in Mui Ne. Day 12. Warsaw. Landing in Warsaw at Chopin Airport. NOTE: On select dates, the itinerary is carried out in reverse order—from Saigon to Hanoi. The order of the itinerary may be subject to change.
