Bei angenehmer Wassertemperatur von circa 27 Grad und 25 Metern Sicht lernst du unter Wasser zu schweben und auch alle Fertigkeiten, die nötig sind, um jeden Tauchgang unter normalen Bedingungen sicher zu beenden und unverletzt an die Wasseroberfläche zurück zu kehren.Teil 3: Die FreiwasserausbildungSind die ersten beiden Teile abgeschlossen, erfolgt sozusagen deine Kür und beinhaltet deine Ausbildung im Freiwasser (See). Hier wenden wir das Wissen und die Fertigkeiten an, die wir im Schwimmbad unter kontrollierten Bedingungen eintrainiert haben und wiederholen noch einmal die eine oder andere Übung in einer natürlichen Umgebung und in kaltem Wasser.Nach erfolgreicher Beendigung deiner drei  Ausbildungsteile erhält du das SSI Open Water Diver Brevet, deine Eintrittskarte in die malerische und faszinierende Unterwasserwelt. Dieses Brevet erlaubt dir in Begleitung eines Tauchpartners bis zu einer empfohlenen Tiefe von 18 Metern selbstständig zu tauchen. The SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program allows you to gain new, interesting and practical experience. You can choose five dives individually from a variety of specialties without having to take a full course in those specialties. If you are not sure how you want to develop as a diver, the SSI Advanced Adventurer course is the best way to improve your diving skills and experience and to find out which specialties might interest you. If one of the dives is from the Deep Diving section, you will extend your depth limit to 30 meters. Your dives will of course be credited if you decide to complete one or more of the specialties. The SSI Dive Guide is the first course in your career as a dive professional. Becoming an SSI Dive Guide is the best way to be gradually introduced to the work of a dive professional without having to complete an instructor program. The Dive Guide is also the prerequisite for becoming a Divemaster.This course provides you with the necessary skills and experience to safely and reliably lead dives for certified divers. Dive guides are also permitted to conduct snorkeling courses as snorkeling instructors.The aim of dive guide training is to train professional, well-trained and versatile diving professionals. As part of the training, great emphasis is therefore placed on practical relevance, flexibility as well as professional and social competence. As all other Dive Professional courses build on the Dive Guide course, good training is a fundamental necessity for the next steps and makes them much easier.Professional Dive Guides are allowed to work in SSI Dive Centers and lead dives in a wide variety of environments and conditions. The Indoor Diver course is a great way to start diving in the winter and then practice your skills independently until spring. It is identical to the Open Water Divers course and differs only in that all open water dives are done in an indoor center, where you will learn everything you need to start your diving adventure. Haven't we all unintentionally been underwater alone - not diving solo. How often has your buddy been out of reach or you've been so distracted while taking photos that you've lost your buddy? Although normally diving with a buddy team partner, there may be reasons why experienced divers choose to dive solo (e.g. underwater photography). It is more common to be involuntarily separated from your buddy while diving. Occasionally you see more and more divers who no longer dive with one or two tanks on their back (backmount), but carry the tanks on their side (sidemount). But why do they do this and are there any advantages over the other system? sidemount diving was developed by wreck and cave divers, for whom the most hydrodynamic position possible was important in order to fit through narrow and small passages.
