During the Advanced Open Water Diver Program, you'll experience 5 different specialties by completing one open water training dive per specialty after a thorough briefing with your SSI Instructor. Take an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time. You'll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! With the course you will expand your diving knowledge to plan safe dives with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. After completing the course, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.

As a Nitrox Diver, you'll be able to increase your bottom times and safety margins and reduce surface intervals, so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting. In this program you will learn new skills and increase your dive knowledge. In addition, you will learn how to plan and safely dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. The SSI Decompression Diving Specialty will teach you to dive beyond the no-decompression limits. You will learn how to plan and conduct dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression using a total recreational dive system and a single decompression cylinder.
