Les Sofreres is an ideal dive for beginners as well as for certified divers who want to enjoy a simple dive with a diversity of life.
Only five minutes of boat ride from Hillsborough Bay, located on a shallow sandpatch on the north east side of Jack A Dan. ’A World Adrift’ by Jason deCaires Taylor was created to raise awareness about Climate Change, inspired by the boat building culture of people from Carriacou and Petit Martinique.
Coral fingers protrude along the coastline, abundant soft corals and fans. NO TAKE - this site is in the Luis Pena Reserve where no fishing or taking animals of any kind is allowed (including Lionfish without a permit). Currents can be from mild to strong depending on the tides, hence the Beginner/Advanced rating.
Found in a beautiful inlet along the coast is a peaceful kelp forest starting at 7m. After dropping into the kelp forest the dive follows a wall down to a max depth of 30m where you can spot an abundance of life in the cracks and overhangs as you swim through a airy cavern back around to the anchored boat.
It is located on the southern side of Büyükada, in the Prince Islands region. It has a very steep and long wall structure. It makes a sudden descent from 7 meters to 30 meters. Dive boats can only go to this area in windless weather.

Located just five minutes from Roshan Resort’s jetty, this reef is a beautiful display of what Oman has to offer with regards to marine life and flora/fauna in the area! Shallow dive good for beginners
This 24m deep dive site, with its horseshoe shape, finishes at both ends by 2 big coralligen rocks that are around 2m high. These last are invaded by lobsters, et you will be able to count at least 50 per dive ! An incredible dive for a lot of divers !
The Dolphin is a dive site sheltered from the mistral, the predominant wind in the area, and in fact is practicable even in adverse weather conditions. It is so named because at a depth of 16mt a life-size statue of a dolphin has been placed on a concrete base.
Klein Curaçao is 11 km/7 miles to the east of Curaçao which means a long boat ride and diving is often done during a day trip or in combination with a dive at East Point. Diving is possible all around the island but usually restricted to the north-east and south-west parts due to weather conditions.
The best dive site on the west side of Curaçao, only accessible by boat. At both sides of the gorgeous hard coral reef are two sandy patches filled with large soft corals. The massive hard coral reef starts at 5m / 15ft and gently drops to 20 m/70 ft where it becomes a sandy bottom.
The area of Varadero, on the northern coast of Cuba just east of Havana, boasts great reef diving, wall, wrecks, night, cave, and deep dives. There are also spectacular snorkel spots as well.
Located East of Praslin island, approximately 15-20 mins boat ride from the dive centre, time may vary depending on the weather conditions. The dive consists of submerged granitic rocks to which there are sponges and corals gripped onto them . Average depth 15-22 metres.
Dive amongst these rocky islands between Praslin and La Digue with depths of 5 to 25 meters. There is much life in these canyons. A beautiful dive. You may need more than one dive to get to see everything this site offers.
Le Rocher : The mythical dive in Martinique !!! Double dive to enjoy the enchanting setting of the rock! The dive is done at the foot of the rock, the water is clear and blue, the walls are covered with all the colors of the rainbow !!!
Kelp beds on the outer edges of the slope are popular fishing spots and great for observing seals, dolphins, birds and fish. Beyond the slope the bottom takes a sudden and 500-foot (150 m)-deep plunge into the La Jolla Canyon. The canyon reaches depths of 600 feet (180 m) within the park.
Entry: use the alleyway next to The Marine Room Restaurant. Careful during higher tide as the water will wash on to steps. Sandy bottom, stays 3-5 meters for at least 100m out from shore.
Davis Reef is one of the nicest reefs in this area. It’s known for an abundance of large green moray eels and a multitude of tropical fish. A great spot for night dives, new divers, and snorkelers. Also of special interest is the Buddha statue that was placed here years ago.
Molasses Reef is one of the most popular dive areas in the Florida Keys. There are 30-33 specific dive sites located on Molasses Reef alone. The reef is shallow and very clear with lots of life, making it a great area for divers of all levels and snorkelers as well.
Colonised by sponges and rich in corals, Anse Dufour offers an enchanting setting with its brilliant colours and the array of species it shelters. Carried by a weak current, Anse Dufour is ideal for drift diving.
The visibility of its crystal clear waters, the richness of its biodiversity and its diversified relief make the Cape of the Whale one of the most beautiful sites of the South Caribbean. A nice drop off slides down to 25m. Cape of the Whale is favourable for drifting, starting in particular from Three Airs Cove.
There is a garden of anemones and about 60 statues on the far right side of the dive site. This is a nice second dive in the morning to get away from the crowds at Liberty Wreck. Entry and exit from the beach can be difficult.
Located in the area called “Bay of Pigs,” Punta Perdiz is a very popular dive destination due to its conditions: easy diving and little current. This dive site is suitable both for beginners and expert divers. More advanced divers can slip over the wall that is accessible during the dive.
This beautiful shallow reef site has lots of hard and soft corals, schooling horse eye jacks, turtles or a sleeping nurse shark nestled among the reef.
Football Field, Pine Cay Turks and Caicos boat accessible salt water dive site. Maximum dept 141-150 feet. The average visibility is 100 to 110 feet
One of the most varied dives that can be carried out in the vicinity of the tourist port of Riva di Traiano, with a minimum depth of 10 meters and a maximum of about 27 meters, characterized by flat sand and rocks and rock tongues (canaloni) that are colonized by yellow gorgonians and red coral.
Cow rock is one of the most recognized dive sites in St. Thomas. Small caves/swim throughs and beautiful elkhorn corals are the dominant features. It is definitely a favorite!
This is a fairly easy dive made up of ledges and overhangs from Little St James Island that are teeming with coral. This site can also be a good snorkel and night dive opportunity with an average depth of 20-40 feet!
Location: Small rock island - 3mins boat drive on the North East point of Juara Bay; Depth18m; Current: Sometimes there is a mild current; Site: Two rocky islands to breach the surface water descending to the sandy bottom bay at 18m. The site has large boulder corals, rocky coral scape, overhangs, and small walls.
Dive site Kerkweg in Den Osse is one of the most famous dive sites in Zeeland. Here you can dive from the jetty on oyster beds, an artificial reef of reefballs and many other hard substrate that is nicely overgrown. The maximum depth is about 30 metres, but you will find most life in the shallow water.
You have everything in this dive, from reefs to wrecks but you can only get there by boat. There is shallow diving, wall diving and reef diving. Depths vary from 20 to 200 feet.
A great, easy dive in super clear water; perfect for beginning divers and snorkelers. This site is located in the Exumas not far from George Town and is named for the abundance of barracuda found here.
Located in the middle of the coral triangle at Bunaken National Park, this dive site is a wall dive thriving with marine life like beautiful corals, sponges, and more! Perfect for freediving, scuba diving, and snorkeling as well.

A great mini wall dive with the wall sitting at 50 feet. The surrounding reef is very healthy and full of differently colored corals and sponges.
The surroundings of El Muellito and the two breakwaters of Playa Chica form a magical place to enjoy diving both day and night. This shallow dive is privileged for snorkeling, baptisms or the first initiation practices.
Beautiful shallow reef system with ledges all over the dive site. There is an exit to an underwater fresh water cave system located on the southern part of the site, which on a rainy day you can feel the thermocline exiting the system.
Due to its position and depth, HMS Coriolanus is one of the most popular wrecks to dive to in Istria peninsular. This amazing artificial reef full of marine life, most of the time gives the impression you dive some where in tropicals. Here you can see almost everything Northern Adriatic can offer.
The southernmost section of the famous Palancar Reef, Palancar Bricks is suitable for divers of all experience levels due to multiple swim throughs are various depths, multi-level diving, and macro photography.
Marilyn’s Cut is one of the most popular sites in the Bloody Bay Marine Park. This gorgeous drop-off is best known for its large swim-through and Sid Vicious, a damselfish with anger issues.
Diving site that owes its name to the huge rocky recess found in the area. This dive takes place along the coast with depths between 9 meters (with some gorges) and 16 meters where the reef meets the sand.
One of the top macro dives anywhere! Scattered ruins and columns are coral encrusted and provide habitat for many types of shallow sea life. The pier is 1526ft/465m long so lots to discover with a gradual westerly decline. Perfect for snorkeling & non-certified divers too.
Outside reef with an interesting “entrance“ into the channel. Big blocks at 20 meters as well as hard corals. Great variety of marine life. Torch highly recommended.
Bandos Rock is located on the house reef of Bandos Island Resort. The top reef starts at 3 to 5 meters and drops (rather steeply) to a sandy bottom at 30+ meters. You will find several caves and interesting overhangs on the wall. Enjoy the large table corals, the pinnacle and a canyon.
The main housereef of Thulhagiri resort. It spans across the northwest-north part of the island. Entry points are marked with red buoys. The western buoy has a line attached to get to 6m deep plateu. perfect for training dives. Afterwards the dive is mostly wall with multiple overhangs going down to about 20m.
This spot consists of two rocks that are about 20m to 30m apart. A great dive for the marine life that it has. However, due to sea conditions (usually there is some current) it is considered a dive for experienced divers only.
Christmas Tree Cave is a fun swim through located in the French Reef Sanctuary Protected Area. It’s named Christmas Tree Cave for the large Star Coral Formation on the top.
This site is a deep patch reef at the end of the Tent Reef system. The small, steep-sided reef is often combined with a visit to the Tent Reef dive site.
