A ilha Oeste está localizada no ilhéu de Vila Franca do Campo e é um declive da ilha que vai até aos 22 metros e existem 4 desfiladeiros que podemos entrar mas não atravessar. Esses desfiladeiros são usados para proteção de espécies.
Algumas enguias, polvos, raias, peixes-gatilho, lagostas, peixes âmbar, barracudas, peixe-balão, linguados, etc...
