Archetti in Giannutri offer a captivating dive among natural arches and tunnels with stunning light effects, on seabeds from 5 to 30 m. Among rocks and Posidonia live wrasses, sea bream, moray eels, groupers, lobsters, and sometimes dentex and barracuda, in an environment suitable for all divers.

The dive takes place a short distance from the fully protected area of ​​the Giannutri marine protected area which guarantees the possibility of spectacular encounters at any depth. The site is marked by two mooring buoys anchored at a depth of approximately 12/14 m on a rocky bottom.

★★★★☆ Secca di Punta Secca

Punta Secca Shoal, off Giannutri’s northern tip, is a rocky rise from over 40 m to about 10 m below the surface. Suitable for experienced divers, its walls are covered with gorgonians, sponges, and corals, and frequented by both pelagic and resident fish.

Cala dei Santi, on the Monte Argentario coast, offers a dive rich in color and biodiversity. Depths range from 5 to 25 m, with rocks, Posidonia meadows, and small caves. Sheltered and scenic, it’s suitable for all levels and ideal for underwater photography.

★★★★☆ Nasim, wreck

The Nasim II wreck, a cargo ship sunk in 1976 near Cala Maestra, lies at 47–60 m on a sandy bottom. Surrounded by Fiat, Peugeot, and Mercedes cars from its deck, it’s a technical dive rich in biodiversity: groupers, lobsters, wrasse, and pelagics enrich the site.

The wreck of the Anna Bianca, a cargo ship sunk in 1971, lies north of Cala Ischiaiola at depths between 33 and 52 m. Split into two sections, it features a well-preserved stern and a fragmented bow. With excellent visibility, it hosts moray eels, congers, lobsters, and schools of shrimp.

Le Cerniette takes its name from the numerous groupers that can be encountered in this particular stretch of sea. It is one of the most visited dives in the Giannutri Marine Protected Area. Seabed that slopes gently from 10 meters to 25 meters up to the edge that descends to 50 meters.

Anchoring point at about 10 meters depth, suitable site for beginners up to experts. The landing is almost always sheltered from wind and waves and therefore facilitates the operations of entry and exit of the divers from the water.
