★★★★☆
(1,486)
Punta Secca Shoal, off Giannutri’s northern tip, is a rocky rise from over 40 m to about 10 m below the surface. Suitable for experienced divers, its walls are covered with gorgonians, sponges, and corals, and frequented by both pelagic and resident fish.
Among the rocks live groupers, dentex, amberjacks, barracuda, moray eels, lobsters, and clouds of anthias, while red and yellow gorgonians cover the walls.
