BUBORÉK DIVING CENTER was established in 1994 in Budapest. Our main activity was the diving education in Hungary, and next to that we organized tours to the Adriatic Sea. One of our favorite destinations was the island of Krk, where we initially sailed the sea in a small sailing boat and then changed it to a larger dinghy to reach the dive sites more and faster. The island and its surroundings have grown so much to our hearts that in 1999 we “settled”, ie we established a company on the island of Krk and opened our diving base in Croatia under the name “Sea Buborék” (Croatian: Morski Mjehuric) next to our school in Budapest. We replaced the boat with our submarine called Obelix, and through the experience, work, and relationships of the past ten years of work, we have been able to take advantage of the island’s capabilities and the help of our partners to provide the most complex service to our guests today.

BUBORÉK DIVING CENTER and its team strive to get to know the beauties of the underwater world with maximum safety after quality education. Our instructors ensure that dives, whether for recreation or education, are enriched with experiences that make diving an adventure of a lifetime.

Why BUBORÉK? In addition to quality education and the possibility of diving in the Budapest pool, as well as our own sea base, we consider it important that • our guests dive with the best and safest equipment (Mares, Dive Labs) • help to get to various and special dive sites due to our local knowledge (Krk, Cres, Plavnik) • Night dives are possible at our onshore dive site • Our base provides comfortable accommodation, free parking and a communal living space (our covered terrace is equipped with a barbecue and endless fun) • in addition to diving, we also offer additional program opportunities in the area for family members who may not be diving

If you are interested or need more information about our base, our courses, feel free to contact us by e-mail or phone, or visit our website, or follow us on Facebook or Instagram!
