Pinnacle or wall dive (if the shallow depth is sought). The pinnacle starts from the surface and descends to 26 meters. At the pinnacle is a cave which can be found crustaceans, nudibranchs and scorpionfish.
It is a wall dive that has a large cavern that has a large air chamber. At its entrance, in the background, there are a large number of rocks where the scorpionfish are protected. The maximum depth is 22 meters.
Easy dive. It can be done on the wall at a shallow depth (6-8 meters) and it can also be done over the Posidonia meadow that is between 12 and 18 meters deep. Juvenile wrasse, cuttlefish, octopus, and nudibranch tend to take refuge in it.
Depth 8-20 meters . This dive is easily recognizable by the bass that does not emerge. We will start the dive descending the rock and border it from North to South, encountering another rock that does not reach the surface. In it we will find a small tunnel full of coral.
It has several caverns and tunnels decorated with anemones and red corals. Inside the caverns, you can find scorpionfish on the rocky bottom. To carry out this dive, good buoyancy control and flashlights are required.
Located at the northern tip of Cala Montgó, it is a wall dive that reaches a maximum depth of 22m, suitable for all levels. The bottom has both rocky and sandy areas and there is also a posidonia meadow.
Easy dive with great light contrasts and with possibilities to see different environments: rocky, sandy and seaweed bottoms. The dive is on the wall and you can go through a large arch at a shallow depth. The dive has a tunnel that connects to La Cova del Dolfí dive site
It is an easy dive which starts at a shallow depth. It is a wall dive which ends with a very large cavern where crustaceans and moray eels can be found. The dive has a sandy, rocky bottom and a large area with algae.
Baix de Cols is a diving spot with a wall and two pinnacles, the largest starts at the surface and descends to 20-22 meters. The smallest starts at 1-2 meters and goes down to 18 meters deep.
The Constantin is a wreck that is located in the northern part of Cala Mateua. Intentionally sank and its excess of dynamite created that today it has no way to ship if not scrap metal. Today it has the function of an artificial reef. It is an easy dive with an average of 12 meters deep.
It is a wall dive with a sandy bottom. The maximum depth is 24 meters. It is accessed from the coast. The south side is a wall where sponges and anemones are usually seen. The north side is an area with many algae where nudibranchs and seahorses hide.
At this point is where begins the Natural Park of Costa del Montgrí, Illes Medes and Baix Ter. It is an easy wall dive. Maximum depth 20 meters. The bottom is composed of sandy sediment with some rocks. You can find algae, sponges and sea stars. It is a recommended dive for all levels.
The Reggio Messina was built in Italy in 1970. It is a 122m long ferry. It sank in 1991 to make it an artificial reef. It is located on a sandy bottom at 35 meters, so it will be better to visit by the superior structure. It is now broken into 3 pieces.
It is a wall dive inside a wide tunnel where you can find multiple yellow nudibranchs, scorpions, and polyps. Near the east exit of the tunnel, there is a chimney which reaches 8-10 meters deep. The use of a flashlight is necessary.
Depth 6-25 meters. The Tres Coves are, in fact, a refuge for bats inside, visible from the surface and allowing the passage of boats. For the diver, the inside of the caves are not of much interest, except for those located to the east of Punta de les Tres Coves.
