For starters, every single one of Dive with Purpose’s staff members are from Cozumel, 100% local as well as locally trained. We have the most knowledgeable crew and only hire and train Cozumelian divers, captains and shop staff with a penchant for providing outstanding service. We are a small business by divers for divers, and we are known for being a no-rush dive operation: we are on your time. We also understand that every diver is different and has particular preferences. With this in mind, we strive to adapt to everyone of our diver’s needs and we will go out of our way to meet every divers’ needs. For all these reasons, we are proud to say that Dive with Purpose is the best dive shop in Cozumel.

We offer scuba diving boat excursions in fast boats with state of the art powertrains and every safety measure available. We dive in the Cozumel Reefs Marine National Preserve, and although specific dive sites are not scheduled in advance, the crew picks them on the day of the dives based firstly on prevailing weather conditions, but also on the level of experience of all the divers in each group and, of course, their preferences. Our surface intervals are at least one hour, and your bottom times are determined by your air consumption alone. We group divers by their level of experience and you will never be in a group larger than 6 divers, but more typical days groups are only 4 divers per divemaster.

We offer only brand new rental gear in excellent conditions, from fins and masks to flashlights and computers. We service our own gear and replace it constantly to offer you the safest, newest gear available in the market.

We cater to divers who choose to stay in Cozumel but also for those who are visiting for a day from the continent. We also welcome divers calling in Cozumel on cruise ships and we offer flexible schedules that wirk with their cruise ship itineraries. We are looking forward to diving with you on your next visit to Cozumel!
