On this dive site, an enormous tree of black coral, similar to a fir tree, is planted at a depth of 56 meters in the black sand. The site is vast, consisting mainly of three large rock formations, some of which are fissured, providing shelter for marine life.

The Antonio Lorenzo was arrested for illegal fishing in the TAAF seas in 1998 and brought back to Réunion. As the vessel threatened to sink in the Port of Pointe des Galets, the regional diving committee asked the government to sink it in an area accessible to divers.
