
Where lime was mined 6 years ago, today a dreamlike lake stretches out. On an area of about five hectares and with depths of up to 54 meters, it currently offers five dive sites everything that makes the diver's heart beat faster. With fantastic visibility, mostly over 10 meters.
Erlichsee is one of several quarry ponds created by gravel extraction on the B 36 near Oberhausen. The lake has a beautiful five-metre area, a wide variety of plants, fish, and a lot to discover.
The quarry pond Untergrombach (Metzgerallmend) is located in the district of Kalsruhe. At its deepest point the lake drops down to 24 meters. Out of special consideration for the animal and plant world, this quarry is divided into different zones. Please use the diving board.
The Streitköpflesee is worth a dive, especially because of the variety of different aquatic plants. Freshwater fish like pike, carp, and tench can be seen again and again. This quarry pond has a maximum depth of about 14 m. Please keep to the existing rules.
In recent years, the quarry pond near Büchenau has increasingly developed into a popular attraction for people from near and far seeking relaxation. Divers should use the parking lot at the hall and adhere to the valid legal regulations. There is a sign at the car park showing the different zones.
There are two entrances in the form of a small slipway. These merge into a gravel pile and, thus, ensure an easy entry and exit. Here you should descend as quickly as possible to 5 meters, because the edge areas of the lake are a retreat for fish and water birds.
Small private lake. The number of divers are limited. There are no toilets, but the possibility to do a barbecue and spend a nice day. The access is hidden and you need a key which you can request through the owner.
Located about 5 kilometers off the coast of Marsa Alam, the northwest side of Shaab Nakari offers beautiful wall diving. The rest of the reef is typical Red Sea coral reef with the usual residents. On the west side there is a sandy bottom at 15-25 meters/ 45-75 ft
