In recent years, the quarry pond near Büchenau has increasingly developed into a popular attraction for people from near and far seeking relaxation. Divers should use the parking lot at the hall and adhere to the valid legal regulations. There is a sign at the car park showing the different zones.
The shallow water areas are for the most part beautifully overgrown and you have a good chance of encountering pike, perch and carp.
