★★★★★ Cedar Pride, wreck

Sank in 1985 by the, now king, the wreck is a large, 80m, cargo ship laying on it’s port side spanning 2 reefs. Ranging from depths of 9m to 26-27m it is suitable for all levels of diver.

★★★★☆ Kiwi Reef

The shallow entry and sandy bottom of the house reef, Kiwi Reef, is prefect for beginner courses. The reef also extends west to deeper waters and a typical dive on kiwi is 12-24m depth.

★★★★★ Al Sharouk, Aqaba

A “ must do“ dive for technical wreck divers! Following the marker buoy down the wreck starts at around 32m you can reach 60m+ on this dive with deco being made, either back up the line, or following the reef north east to the C130 and finishing at the tank.

★★★★★ Tristar

Commercial Aircraft sunk on purpose as an attraction and to form an artificial reef. Penetration is possible for those suitably qualified, varying in depth from 16-32m.

★★★★★ C-130 Hercules, wreck

Sank in 2017, as both an artificial reef and diving attraction, the Hercules is a fairly shallow site to a maximum depth of 17m. In 2020 Aqaba experienced a large storm which tore the aircraft apart and it now looks like a proper wreckage. There is a skeleton in the pilot seat, it’s not real!

★★★★★ New Canyon and Tank, Aqaba

Starting from the boat, the first features are 2 large pinnacles teaming with life. From here you follow the canyon down one side, where you can pick your depth, from here and depending on experience you can, either, shallow up and come back up the same side or cress in the “blue“ to make the tank your stop.

★★★★★ Gorgon 1, Aqaba

A reef teaming with life and suitable for all levels. The site is named after a huge, white gorgonia at the start of the dive, then follow the reef to explore 2 large pinnacles and, supposedly, the largest cabbage coral in the middle east.

★★★★☆ Black Rock

Named after the Black Rock that can be seen from the beach, this site is a reef dive, because of the underwater topography, it’s suitable for all levels of diver. A very easy, pretty dive, at the end, gas allowing, there is a nice surprise, a look under a jetty but take your time, lots to be spotted.

★★★★★ Power Station, Aqaba

Suitable for all levels and only available as a boat dive. A flat plateau to around 16m then dropping off on a wall to around 40m where it levels out then drops again to around 60m then dropping again!

Aqualung

★★★★★ Seven Sisters

Another dive suitable for all levels of diver, the depth can be chosen, although it is best planned as a shallow dive because of the variety of huge corals at shallow depths.

Aqualung

★★★★★ Japanese Garden Aqaba

One of the very popular diving sites due to it’s huge variety of corals and marine life. It has had the recent addition of some artificial structures to attract new life to the very shallow area and makes for an interesting and unusual sight under the water.

Mares, Janez Kranjc

★★★★★ Rainbow Reef

Named after the shape of the reef this site is a very pretty, sheltered, site made by following the reef to the north. Suitable for all levels or diver as, once again depth can be chosen to suit certification level.

Scubapro

★★★★★ King Abdullah Reef

This beautiful site takes it’s name from the present king of Jordan. Spread over a large area it’s very easy to make 3 or 4 dives at this reef site and not see the same thing and suitable for all levels of diver.

Mares

★★★★★ First Bay North

The most northerly site within the Marine Park boundaries. A place suitable for all levels with a fantastic abundance of hard and soft corals. The site is punctuated by deeper canyons that can, either, be swam across or the natural layout can be followed.
