The Safe Monument is named after the discovery of a burglarized fire safe. The visibility varies between 5m and 8m depending on earthmoving activity in the area. Perch and at least one pike have been found on the north bank.
This dive site is a quarry in the middle of a production area with access only through partners of the quarry like local clubs and dive centers. Access is only allowed on weekends, outside working hours! There is a locked boom when it is closed. The max depth is less than 30m.
Järppilä quarry is a disused granite quarry. The open pit in question has been filled with water and is a popular diving destination where diving is allowed. The site is behind a locked boom and local diving clubs and organizations have the keys to it.
This quarry is an old granite quarry that is still within the production area, therefore access to the site is only granted through a dive club or the company. The booms are locked and diving is only allowed on weekdays starting at 3pm and on weekends). Great for all kinds of training, with max depth of 19m.
