Take your first step into the underwater world with the SSI Open Water Diver Course in Koh Lanta. Designed for beginners, this internationally recognized certification program combines flexible digital learning, practical skill development, and open water diving experiences to help you become a confident and responsible scuba diver.At Blue Planet Divers, training is delivered in a welcoming, personalized environment with small groups and professional SSI instructors, ensuring every student receives the attention needed to progress safely and comfortably.Throughout the course, you will learn essential scuba diving skills, equipment use, underwater communication, buoyancy control, dive planning, and environmental awareness. Training takes place in the warm, clear waters of the Andaman Sea, providing ideal conditions for learning and building confidence underwater.Upon successful completion, you will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification, allowing you to dive independently with a certified buddy to a maximum depth of 18 metres (60 feet) anywhere in the world.

If you cannot decide which specialty programs are the best choice for you, join the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program! You will try Deep Diving and Navigation plus a variety of 3 more specialty areas of choice before committing to full specialty training. It is a great way to experience what advanced diver training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver Program, you will experience 5 different specialties by completing one open water training dive per specialty after a comprehensive briefing with your SSI Instructor. By taking this program you will have total freedom to explore. You can complete the full Specialty trainings any time in the future and credit your Advanced Open Water Diver training towards them.

Take your diving beyond the beginner level with the SSI Advanced Open Water Course in Koh Lanta. Designed for certified Open Water Divers, this course helps you build confidence, improve your underwater skills, and gain experience in a variety of diving environments while exploring some of the best dive sites in the Andaman Sea.Through a series of adventure dives, you will expand your diving knowledge and discover new underwater experiences such as deep diving, underwater navigation, buoyancy control, wreck diving, fish identification, and other specialty areas depending on conditions and your interests.Training is conducted in small groups with professional SSI instructors, allowing you to progress at your own pace while receiving personalized attention and guidance.

Enjoy a scuba or snorkeling day trip to Koh Bida Nok, Nai & Hin Bida for 2 or 3 dives. We leave at 8.00 am and back around 4.00 pm if 2 dives, later if 3 dives. Koh Bida's Islands consist of two small islands located close to the southern tip of Koh Phi Phi islands. These two beautiful islands provide a great chance of seeing turtles and sharks. This is the place to dive is you want to meet big school of fish. Easy for everyone's activity.
