Tufi is a town located on the south east coast, in the Southern Region of the island of Papua New Guinea. Its coast border on the Solomon Sea. These waters have a vast array of different kinds of diving which are bound to excited divers of many interests. Diving in Tufi

Diving in Tufi means multiple different types of diving which can be done in one trip. There are multiple wrecks scattered on the seafloor here, mostly from WWII, alongside other historical artefacts from that time. Avid wreck divers can penetrate most of these wrecks and really dive into history. The reefs here are also something unforgettable with marine flora of all shapes, textures and colours, inhabited by a collection of marine critters. Other types of dives include wall diving, drift diving, and diving with large species such as Rays and Sharks. There are dive sites here ideal for dive courses, underwater photographers and night dives also.

The best Months to Dive in Tufi

Tufi is a warm, tropical diving destination, with temperatures ranging between 22°C and 31°C, and water temperatures ranging between 27°C and 29°C. Divers are able to dive here year round . The wet season runs from December to April and it consists of calm seas with evening rain showers. The dry season is warm but with slightly wavy seas. The visibility here is above average with often reaching 30 meters and above.
