The reef is covered with stony corals, leather corals, anemones, sea stars and sea cucumbers. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Gato Island (★4.5) Gato Island is a well preserved marine reserve and sea snake sanctuary. This is one of the five famous dive sites on the Island. The site is a tunnel where you take a tour underneath the island. This site is best for more experienced divers/ Peter S. (#417559) Kimud Shoal (★4.8) After the tresher sharks disappeared from Monad Shoal for unknown reasons and moved to the Kimud Shoal, this is now one of the best dive sites in the world to see the rare and elusive tresher sharks. These sharks normally live in the deep but regularly come here for the cleaning stations at shallower depths. Hans E. (#3545391) Rock Point West (★4.4) Located on the southwest corner of Apo Island, Rock Point West is adjacent to it’s sibling Rock Point East. A steep slope leads you to a plateau towards the southern tip where the current gets stronger most of the time. DiveGurus Diving Services Corp., 5608 Malay Fridays Rock (★4.4) A dive at Fridays covers two divespots: Fridays Rock which is up to 18 meters deep and Fridays Reef which reaches 12 meters of depth. Its a very well visited divesite. E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Cordova reef (★4.2) Cordova Reef is a 15mins boat travel from EZDC Housereef. A slope terrain from shallow up to 21m/67 feet, then wall. Good for beginner and Advanced level divers. Hans E. (#3545391) Chapel Reef (★4.5) The Catholic Chapel at Apo Island can be seen from the dive site, hence the name. A stunning dive site that begins as a slope with scattered coral bommies leading to a steeper slope towards a wall overloaded with nook, crannies, cracks, crevices & caverns exposing overhangs graced by soft & hard corals. Mares Alona Reef (★4.5) Wreck dive locally called the Hagabat Wreck or Bohol Divers Wreck. Usually starts with a descent down a line close to a wall and then down the slope to the wreck. The top of the wreck is at 28M and the bow of the wreck is at 37M. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Danao Wall (★4.4) Danao Wall on Panglao Island, Bohol is a top dive site with vibrant corals, sponges, and sea fans on a dramatic wall that drops beyond 60m. Most dives stay around 15–25m, where visibility is excellent and volcanic rock formations add to the beauty. A must-dive in the Philippines. Aqualung Katipanan Reef (★4.4) A great dive site for new divers. This site is very easy to dive and the coral and sea turtles will just take your breath away. A beautiful slope that lets you see the far reaching coral gardens and if you look close, you will have the chance to see nudibranchs and a lot of colorful reef fish. Stephane C. (#3858207) Coconut Point (★4.5) A virtual washing machine experience awaits you at Coconut Point, an exciting dive site on the northern tip of Apo Island. The current can come at you literally from any side left, right, up, down & center. A sloping reef edging towards a rock wall. This site is best for experienced divers. DIVESTORY CORPORATION, 6015 LAPU - LAPU Pescador West / Cathedral (★4.4) Pescador Cathedral is a cave that has a vertical swim through offering views of the surface. The depth ranges from 5 to 65 meters with a visibility of 20 to 50 meters. Its chimney continues to around 16m depth. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Momo Beach (★4.5) A peaceful and scenic dive site known for its calm conditions and divers habitat. The site features a gently sloping sandy bottom interspersed with coral patches, seagrass areas, and small reef formations. Depths are generally shallow to moderate, making it suitable for beginners, training and relaxed dives. DIVESTORY CORPORATION, 6015 LAPU - LAPU Pescador East (★4.4) Pescador Island’s east side, near Moalboal, Cebu, features a dive starting at a 5m plateau descending to 65m along a coral-covered slope. The dive concludes on a plateau rich in small marine life, also ideal for snorkeling. Aqualung Medicare (★4.5) Right in front of the Medicare facility on land. A mild current allows you to cover both dive sites. A steep rocky slope descends to 20 meters on Medicare South moving deeper to 25 – 30 meters towards Medicare North. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Tangka-an Point (★4.5) A peninsular dive spot on the southern tip of Padre Burgos. Exposed to a 3 sided waterfront from the south, east, and west make for a good drift dive when the currents pick up. Mares Turtle Rock (★4.1) Divers plunge to the deepest depth of the wall at 20 meters & follow a bearing to the sandy slope westward to check out 4 massive rock boulder outcroppings. BLUE MONSTAR, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Abaca House Reef (★4.4) Blue Monsta Houseleaf is a five-minute drive from Maktan Newtown and you can see a variety of marine life, especially turtles, trigger fish, grouper, crown fish, trumpet fish, sardines, fan coral and seahorses. HB ANDA SCUBA DIVING CENTER CORP., 6311 ANDA Virgen west (★4.7) Virgen West is located in the middle of the Virgen marine sanctuary. The top of the reef starts around 5m and the drop off go down until 30m. On the bottom its interesting sandy slop. DiveGurus Diving Services Corp., 5608 Malay Tribird Plane Wreck (★4.6) The Tri-Bird Plane Wreck is a 20 meter long airplane that was sunk on purpose on March 1st, 2012. It has a wing span of about 25 meters and is lying upside down on sandy grounds. The wreck starts at a depth of 25 meters down to the ground at 30 meters. Hans E. (#3545391) Largahan (★4.5) Largahan is a very beautiful and diverse site. You will find a dark sandy area of coral gardens and volcanic rocks. This site is great for macro diving, like the whole of Apo Island. Analynne S. (#3245254) SILVER REEF HOUSE REEF (★4.7) Gentle slope reef with a lot of yellow tail Snappers, resident Green Turtles and Hawksbill turtles. Reef has strong current but a diver can hide behind huge coral bommies and hang out with fish at 5m Scubapro Apo Scuba House Reef (★4.6) One of the best spots for macro diving—ideal for spotting fascinating and tiny critters. Dauin is a paradise for underwater photographers and macro enthusiasts, offering black sand dive sites teeming with rare and exotic marine life. The area’s nutrient-filled waters create the perfect habitat for muck diving. Mares Atlantis House Reef (★4.4) Located directly in front of Atlantis Dive Resort, the Atlantis House reef is a combination of sandy areas, artificial reefs, coral reefs, and seagrass beds. E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City E&Z DIVE CENTER (★4.8) EZDC House reef is a white sand beach good for swimming, snorkeling and confined Open Water Diver training. It is a slight slope from shallow 3m/9.6feet upto 18m/59feet. A place rich for macro and wideangle photography. Cebu J Dive Center, 6015 Lapu-Lapu City Gilutungan Coral Plateau (★4.1) Hilutongan is 30mins. away from Jpark Marineboy Dive Center via Speedboat, and it is under the Municipal of Cordova, it is a small island close to Nalusuan E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Gilutungan Marine Sanctuary (★4.3) Gilutongan Island, also called Hilutungan Island, Hilotongan Island or Lutungan Island, lies 30 minutes by banka boat from Mactan Island. The island is home to numerous coral reefs and sea grass meadows. Aqualung LIGHT HOUSE (★4.5) This lighthouse is found on the southern tip of Cebu and is an amazing dive spot for beginners. You can get there easily from Santander, Liloan, or Oslob. E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Marigondon Cave (★4.1) Marigondon Cave is the most exciting dive along the coast of Mactan Island, Cebu. It has a roof at around 29m/95ft and a floor of at about 40m/133ft. the diameter of the cave is near 10m/33ft. At the entry there is a small alcove. Sidemount or Twinset is a must diving in the area. Aqualung La Tortue House Reef (★4.8) Located at the southern end of the Dauin Poblacion District 1 Sanctuary, it offers amazing diving for beginners, advanced and expert divers with both muck and a big, healthy reef. There’s also a mini reef at 30m for Advanced Divers to enjoy. Hans E. (#3545391) El Dorado (★4.7) This is a favorite dive site for divers looking for dense fish. It is a coral recovery and conservation site that features different types of Artificial Reef designed to encourage coral growth. It is now home to a wide variety of fish species and coral species. Atlas Divers-Philippines Inc., 6013 Daanbantayan Mangrove (★4.4) Mangrove is a great dive site for open water training with an average depth of 8-10m and a maximum depth of 14m. There is a nice sandy area and a patch reef. HB ANDA SCUBA DIVING CENTER CORP., 6311 ANDA Anda Scuba Diving House Reef (★4.9) This amazing house reef, right in front of the dive shop, is a wall starting at 5 m with a slope to 12 m, then a steep drop off to 30 m. Sandy canyons lead down to the depths. Aqualung Doljo point (★4.6) Doljo Point is a popular dive site on the northwest tip of Panglao Island, known for its dramatic underwater terrain. It features a coral plateau that drops into steep walls and slopes, with strong currents that attract large schools of fish and pelagic species. ←12
