A dive where we can see schools of eagle rays, schools of jacks and nurse sharks or white tip sharks. Mares Taotoi (★4.4) Privileged place to observe giant morays, sharks and all kind of reef fishes. It is a favorite dive site for beginners and first time divers in Moorea. TOPDIVE Tahiti, 98713 PAPEETE La Vallée blanche, Tahiti (★4.2) One of the most beautiful dive of Tahiti for its fauna. Grey sharks, white tip, black tip, lemon and sometimes even the majestic tiger shark. The dive is particularly recommended for drift diving. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Hydravion et Goelett (★4.3) One of the few wreck sites in Polynesia. You will explore the wreckage of the Catalina PBY-5A, given by the US Navy to the RAI (Régie Aérienne Inter-insulaire, the ancestor of Air Tahiti) and flown in the Polynesian air in the 1950s. Scubapro L’ile bleue/Blue Island (★4.6) An isolated peak in the blue that we call Blue Island. At the entrance to Cook’s Bay, this dive is done when visibility is good and requires swimming in the blue before ascending into the coral canyon. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Temae (★4.4) At Temae, an easy-to-explore dive that starts on a coral plate at 15m before descending a gentle slope with several tongues of sand with sharks. Have a look in the blue, schools of fish are never far! Mares, Janez Kranjc Les jumeaux (★4.2) Les Jumeaux is a drift dive requiring favorable weather conditions for good visibility. There are two peaks to explore and a cathedral of coral in which sleeping sharks can hide. Mares Eden Park (★4.6) From Level 1 or Open Water. Maximum depth 29 meters. Diving in a beautiful coral garden, with sharks, turtles, barracudas, clown fish in the anemones... Aqualung Mamaru (★4.6) Mamaru is the Tahitian name for the white-tip sharks we come across on this dive site. A gentle slope to the sand spit where we can meet turtles and sharks. Mares, Janez Kranjc Mur de corail/Coral Wall (★4.5) Located just outside of Opunohu’s Bay, you’ll dive between coral canyons and gentle slopes, offering dives accessible to all in depths of 15-20m. TOPDIVE Tahiti, 98713 PAPEETE La Faille St Etienne, Tahiti (★4.3) Beautiful opening in the reef. A lot of verticality when arriving at the St. Etienne Drop-off. The upper part of the drop-off is very lively, with plenty of fish and turtles. A magnificent dive, especially with good visibility. TOPDIVE Tahiti, 98713 PAPEETE L' Aquarium, Tahiti (★4.3) Certainly the best site for beginners in Tahiti. A coral ring which is ideal for a first dive. There are also 3 wrecks lying on the sand: a Cessna (5 m) and 2 boats. TOPDIVE Tahiti, 98713 PAPEETE La Source, Tahiti (★4.5) The site owes its name to a freshwater spring emerging from the depths of the ocean. It gushes out at 5-6 meters below the surface and is easily visible due to the column of fresh water escaping from it. This is what is called a halocline. This site is well-known in Tahiti for turtle watching. Scubapro Tiki (★4.3) Its a dive site 10 minutes max by boat, and runs from north to west, but is exposed to waves and sometimes current. Going there will always depend on the weather conditions. Mares Canyons - Moorea (Tahiti) (★4.5) The Canyon dive site is located off the mysthical Ōpūnohu Bay in Moorea.
