Abaandance Faru
Abaandance Faru is named after the Maldivian Marine Biologist Mohamed Abaan who instantly fell in love with the biodiversity and treasures which can be found in the several overhangs around this part of the reef. Most of those overhangs are located at a depth from 15 to 20 meters along a steep wall.
Different kind of sweetlips as well as several rare species are trying to hide in the overhangs. Black corals as well as hard corals are dominating the coral life.
