Ala Gandu
The “Northern Saddle“ of the reef has pristine hard coral in the shallow part between 5-15m with slopes going down to a sandy bottom at around 25m. Not super protected when the current is coming into the channel, as it is a long reef.
Frequently seen are various types of reef fish like triggerfish, damsels, anemonefish, moray eels in the reef, sometimes stingrays in the sand or whitetip reef sharks cruising by.
