Appa Thila
Appa Thila is a large reef on the inside of the atoll. Its west side is a beautiful terrace with lots of hard and soft coral blocks. Down at 30 meters there is some smaller overhangs, but the most beautiful part is the shallower waters above 15 meters. Appa Thila is great for beginners and snorkellers.
Schools of fusilier, huge diversity of different reef fishes. Regular visitors are also whitetip reef sharks and hawksbill sea turtles, some oriental sweetlips and plenty anemone fish.
