★★★★☆ Kuda Giri Wreck

The Kuda Giri is a very pretty, very well-established giri (pinnacle) with lots of small caves and overhangs, this giri is also covered with beautiful hard corals on the east side.

★★★★☆ Kandooma Thila

This “Thila” is in the middle of the kandooma kandu. From 2000 to 2009 this dive site was ranked world 10th place of shark diving. The top of the reef is full of hard corals. The sides of the “Thila” are covered with soft corals. The currents are strong here and highly recommend for Advanced and Nitrox divers.

★★★★☆ Guraidhoo Corner

One of the interesting attractions during the east monsoon, this site offers a wide variety of big fish life. The entire channel is a marine protected area. Depending on the strength of the current, be well prepared for several downstream currents and some washing machines when drifting to the inside channel.

★★★★☆ Kandooma Caves

Nice channel dive with many overhangs in around 20 meters depth. One of the overhangs at 20 meters has an opening at the ceiling with a window at 10 meters. Torch highly recommended. Many turtles seen here!

★★★★☆ Medhu Faru

Beautiful outside reef dive. Many big and small coral blocks between 5-15 meters. A gentle drop off going down to 30 meters. Best to be dived in an East to West current.

★★★★☆ Vaggiri

Vaggiri is a great dive site for every diver, especially those who love to see small life and have longer dives. There are overhangs, small caves and swim throughs. The formation of this giri is very unique and a perfect place to try out deep dives for the first time.

★★★★☆ Lhosfushi Kuda Kandu

Kuda Kandu means small channel and is located north of Guraidhoo channel, it has a very shallow sandy bottom at 12 meters deep and 10 meters wide. It offers colonies of stony and soft corals which give good hide away spots to blue stripe yellow snappers.

★★★★☆ Cocoa Corner

Your best dive at Cocoa Corner will be when the northeast incoming ocean current hits this Atoll, which then only requires you a minimal fin kick to cruise along. This can be a long drift or a short drift dive. Make sure you do not miss the corner. An ideal spot for a early morning dive to see hammerhead sharks.

★★★★☆ Appa Thila

Appa Thila is a large reef on the inside of the atoll. Its west side is a beautiful terrace with lots of hard and soft coral blocks. Down at 30 meters there is some smaller overhangs, but the most beautiful part is the shallower waters above 15 meters. Appa Thila is great for beginners and snorkellers.

★★★★☆ Dhon Mas Giri

Dongmas Giri is a small round reef in the middle of the atoll. A drop off from 1-12 meters on the south side is where there are small bomies covered with compact coral that shelter loads of glass fish. The west side has some beautiful overhangs. Diving with a torch is highly recommended.

★★★★☆ Admiral 3

Admiral 3 is on the North side of Rannalhi on the outside reef in the channel. It is a wall that starts at 7 meters, and the drop-off continues down to 28 meters. There is a good chance to see big fish in the channel entry.

★★★★☆ Magu 2

When the current starts coming in from the west side of the atoll, you better not miss this spectacular dive site! It is a pinnacle a thila but very large with a shallow top reef. This dive site has one of the best fish life combinations from very tiny to very large.

★★★★★ Point Thila

This is a small reef situated inside the atoll with a drop-off on the west side. The reef is full of holes and overhangs, with sponges and black corals. A torch and camera are highly recommended.

★★★★★ Admiral 1

Admiral 1 is a channel and offers the option of either a drift dive in the current or crossing the channel along the outside reef. In its middle there is a smaller thila on 16 meters, which makes a nice addition to hang out and watch the scenery when crossing the channel.

★★★★☆ Rannalhi House Reef

This is a very good dive site for all kinds of divers, starting with a gentle slope in the sandy bottom and then moving on to the reef which is quite widespread, with a maximum depth of 17 meters. Since its also a nursery for juveniles, some trevallys coming in to feed.
