Around 12 kilometers north of Asturias Poblacion proper, Bagakawa point is a fringing reef characterized with a shallow tidal flat that slopes down to ~3m with sandy bottom.
Shallow tidal flat is mostly dominated with macro algal assemblage with branching and massive lifeforms of corals that slopes down to 3m to sandy bottom.
