Barleber Lake
North of Magdeburg is Barleber Lake. Its area is about 103 ha. with a maximum depth of 11m, an average depth of 6.7m, and visibility up to 7m.
Eel, bream, pike, carp, and roach have been sighted so far. Rudd and white bream can also be found. The ground is mostly sandy.
