The Friedensteich is open as a lido in the summer. During the outdoor swimming season there is a snack bar, toilets, changing rooms and showers. The water depth is max. approx. 9,5 m. At about 4-5 m there is a thermocline, below it is quite fresh.
In the shore area there is algae growth up to about 4m depth with numerous smaller fishes. The stock includes rudd, perch, carp, pike, catfish, crayfish, mussels.
